Our event theme this year is Cosmic Couture! Journey to a galaxy where fashion orbits sustainability and repurposed materials are reimagined into luminous, runway-ready looks inspired by the vast beauty of the universe.

​Design COMPETITION Requirements

At least 90% of each garment must be made from recycled or repurposed materials!

Materials resembling fabric are discouraged.  The more unconventional the material, the better!
 

  • No store-bought clothing or virgin fabric allowed

  • Only new thread, glue, zippers, and fasteners permitted

  • Designs must be original and not previously shown

  • 1st Place: $3,000

  • 2nd Place: $1,000

  • 3rd Place: $500

  • People’s Choice Award: $500

  • Seedling Award (Student Designer): $350
