Please join us for the return of our favorite edgy, exciting, and creative event—the Trash Makeover Challenge!

Our live, hybrid event will start at 5:00 pm (CST) on Saturday 9/24/22. The in-person event will be at the Texas Disposal Systems Event Pavillion in South Austin and the Zoom registration link for the online streaming of the event will be sent to ticket purchasers before the event.

​

This unique fashion show features amateur and professional fashionistas who use at least 90% recycled materials to craft spectacular garments and showcase them in a dazzling spectacle for attendees.

​

This event draws fashion visionaries and tastemakers, local celebrities, elected officials, top environmental activists, business leaders, and other prominent Texas figures. Join us to enjoy a unique show that challenges designers to make clothing out of repurposed materials, participate in deciding the People’s Choice awards, and learn more about our work to fight pollution all over Texas.

​We are also holding an auction! You can start bidding on most of the items on September 9. Select items will only be available for in-person bidding at our live event. All bidding ends the night of the event. You can start browsing and bidding here!

For the online event, we ask for a minimum suggested donation of $36.50 (just a dime a day!) or whatever you can give, from $0 to $3,000!
